RATE OF PROFIT ON GENERAL PROVIDENT FUND AND CONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT FUND


Government of Pakistan, Finance Division (Regulations Wing), Deputy Secretary (R-III) issued a Resolution regarding rate of profit on General Provident Fund (GPF) and Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) vide No.F.2(1)-Reg-7/2014-440 dated 06.08.2018:-


The rate of profit on deposits and on balance at the credit of the subscribers to the General Provident Fund and similar other Funds for the year 2016-17 was fixed under Finance Division's Resolution No.F.2(1)/2014-455 dated 22.08.2017 @ 11.30% per annum.  It has now been decided that the rate of profit applicable to the subscriptions and the balances in the various Provident Funds during the financial year beginning on the 1st, July, 2017 shall be 11.70% per annum. The funds concerned are:-

(1) The General Provident Fund (GPF)
(2) The Contributory Provident Fund (CPF)

Necessary instructions regarding the rate of profit applicable to the balances in the various Provident Funds under the control of Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Defence for the year in question will be issued separately by these Ministries.

Ordered that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of Pakistan.

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
