POLICY REGARDING TWO DEGREES AWARDED IN SAME YEAR OR SESSION CLASH WITH SAME OR DIFFERENT MODE BY HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION

Higher Education Commission, Consultant (Quality Assurance Division) issued policy regarding two degrees awarded in same year or session clash with same or different mode.


Detail is as under:-


The policy on the subject of two degrees awarded at the same time or with session clash approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in its meeting held on October 27th, 2015;

a)       Admission requirements are met.
b)      Written permission is obtained from university before joining programs.

This combination of degrees is allowed provided that;
c)       Admission requirements are met.
d)      Written permission is obtained from both universities before joining programs.

Bachelor / Master Degree obtained in the private mode in the same university.
This combination of degrees is allowed.

1-Year B.Ed degree obtained in the private mode from one university in one academic year / session.
2-Year M.A in any discipline obtained in the private mode from the same university in the same academic year / session.
This combination of degrees is allowed.

2-Year Degree (Science) obtained in the regular mode in one university in one academic session / year.
2-Year degree (Arts / Social Science) in the private / distance learning mode in the same or different university in one academic session / year.
This combination of degrees is allowed.

Other Policy Guidelines:
1.   1. In the case of Professional Degrees, the permission of respective councils, for example: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) would be required.
2.   2. Degrees with time clash are not allowed in any case.
3.   3. For all above mentioned degree programs if the policy of university does not allow for any mode, the degree program must not be started.
4.   4. Students shall meet the pre-requisites viz admission requirements of programs.

Note:- The policy will be enforced with effect from Fall Semester 2015. All degrees awarded previously fulfilling any of the above-mentioned acceptable combinations, will be recognized. The degrees issued previously before the enforcement of the policy that are not in line with provision of the policy shall not be recognized.

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed. In this regard you are directed to make it simple and easy for all teachers through establishing PERs desks in CEO office, where all such teachers who have not yet got countersigned their PERs will submit their PERs for counter signature from the concerned countersigning officer.            The incharge / focal person of desk shall provide these PERs to · concerned counter singing authority through special messenger and after counter signature the counter signing authority will provide PERs t
