INCREASE IN SALARY AND PENSION AS PER THE BUDGET SPEECH 2018-19

Pay & Allowances for Government Employees and Pensioners announced in the Budget Speech 2018-19.
Adhoc Relief Allowance
Adhoc Relief Allowance @10% on running basic pay of BPS-2017 will be granted on running Basic Pay to all Federal Government Civil and Armed Forces employees.

Increase in Net Pension
An increase in Net Pension @10% will be granted to all Federal Government Civil and Armed Forces employees.

House Rent Ceiling
The House Rent Ceiling will be increased @50% of the existing amount.

House Rent Allowance
The House Rent Allowance will be increased @50% of the existing amount.

Minimum Self Pension
The rate of minimum self Pension will be increased from Rs.6000/- to Rs.10000/-.

Minimum Family Pension
The rate of minimum Family Pension will be increased from Rs.4500/- to Rs.7500 of Civil and Armed Forces Pensioners of the Federal Government.

Minimum Pension for Pensioners of Aged 75 years
The rate of minimum pension will be Rs.15000 for the Pensioners whose age is 75 years or above.

Over Time Allowance
Over Time Allowance admissible to staff car drivers and dispatch riders will be increased from Rs.40/- per hour to Rs.80/- per hour subject to maximum of Rs.480 on working days and Rs.100/- per hour on closed holidays subject to maximum of Rs.600/- per day.

Advances to the Civil Employees
An amount of Rs.12 billion is allocated for grant of House Building, Motor Car and Motor Cycle Advances to the Civil Employees of the Federal Government.

Senior Officers Performance Allowance
An amount of Rs.5 billion is allocated for grant of Senior Officers Performance Allowance.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
