LIFTING OF BAN ON TRANSFER / POSTING OF TEACHERS IN THE SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, PUNJAB

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department, Secretary School Education issued notification dated 21.03.2018 regarding Lifting of Ban on Posting / Transfer of Teachers in the School Education Department.

The detail of notification:-

  • The Chief Minister Punjab has been pleased to approve the lifting of ban imposed transfers / postings of the Honourable Teachers by the respective Competent Authorities for different categories and grades in the School Education Department (SED) from 1st |April to 31st May, 2018 according to the Transfer Policy, 2013.
  • The Honourable Chief Minister has been further pleased to direct that all Competent Authorities for the different categories and grades in SED for the transfer / postings of the Honourable Teachers shall be personally responsible to ensure that all postings / transfers shall be made as per the Transfer Policy 2013 dated 17.04.2013 as amended from time to time till 15 March, 2018 (Annex-A) within the approved timelines referred above strictly on merit and as per approved laid down criteria. In case of any deviation from the Transfer Policy 2013, concerned Authority will be proceeded under the provision of PEEDA Act 2006.
  • Schedule for processing of transfer applications is as under:-

  • All the concerned Authorities shall make sure personally that due care and diligence is exercised; absolutely on merit in order to implement the aforementioned directions of the Honourable Chief Minister, Punjab.

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed. In this regard you are directed to make it simple and easy for all teachers through establishing PERs desks in CEO office, where all such teachers who have not yet got countersigned their PERs will submit their PERs for counter signature from the concerned countersigning officer.            The incharge / focal person of desk shall provide these PERs to · concerned counter singing authority through special messenger and after counter signature the counter signing authority will provide PERs t
