Government of the Punjab, Finance Department, Section Officer (PC) issued a letter to the Accountant General, Punjab and All the District Accounts Officers, Punjab regarding clarification of upgradation of posts of teachers of education department.
The letter written is as under: I am directed to refer to the Notification No.SO(SE-III)5-11/2016, dated 25th September, 2017 issued by School Education Department duly authenticated by Finance Department, on the subject cited above and to state that certain quarters are approaching Finance Department for clarification of the above referred notification.
2. I am further directed to clarify that all the incumbents of the post of PSTs / ESEs (all categories), ESTs / SESEs (all categories) will be upgraded from BS-09 to BS-14 and BS-14 to BS-15 respectively. All the incumbents of the posts of SSTs / SSEs (all categories) will be granted two annual increments w.e.f 01.01.2018. All the incumbent of the posts of ESTs who are working in BS-15 (Personal) will be upgraded from BS-15 to BS-16 (Personal) and those working in BS-16 (Personal) are entitled to the grant of two annual increments w.e.f 01.01.2018.
3. Further action may be taken accordingly.
