NOTIFICATION REGARDING UP-GRADATION / GRANT OF INCREMENTS TO THE SCHOOL TEACHERS OF PUNJAB

School Education Department, Government of the Punjab has issued Notification regarding Up-Gradation / Grant of Increments to Teachers as per Budget Speech vide No. S.O (SE-III)5- 11/2016 dated 28-09-2017.

In view of the Notification, the School Teachers of Punjab will be upgraded with effect from 1st January, 2018. Up-Gradation detail is as follows;

  1. Primary School Teacher (PST) up-graded from BPS-9 to BPS-14
  2. Elementary School Teacher (EST) up-graded from BPS-14 to BPS-15
  3. Elementary School Teacher (EST) already in BPS-15 to BPS-16
  4. Elementary School Teacher (EST) already in BPS-16 will get 02-Additional Increments
  5. Secondary School Teacher (SST) will also get 02-Additional Increments 
  6. The uplift & upward mobility packages already awarded vide Notification No.SO(SE-III)2-16/2007 dated 24-09-2007, 06-11-2009 and 15-02-2013 shall stand discontinued with effect from 01-01-2018. 
  7. This Up-Gradation / Grant of Increments will be effective from 1st January, 2018.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
