HOW TO GET NEW CURRENCY NOTES BEFORE EID-UL-FITR

This year also State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has decided to provide the New Currency Notes to General Public with help of Pakistan Bank Association via SMS short code at 8877 from 12-06-2017 to 23-06-2017.

Method:
Type CNIC Number <space>Bank Branch ID Number and SMS to 8877
(For example:- 34300-1234567-9 1133)
In reply you will get Transaction Code & Bank Branch Address and Time Limit
Then you will have to go to that Bank Branch alongwith original & photocopy of your CNIC and pay the amount to get the New Currency Notes in exchange.

How Many New Currency Notes Can Be Got:

3 Packets of 10 Rupees worth Rs.3000/-
1 Packet of 50 Rupees worth Rs.5000/-
1 Packet of 100 Rupees worth Rs.10000/-

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty.
