Government of the Punjab, School Education Department approved Assessment Policy Framework 2019 for Elementary Level of School Education in Punjab. The Competent Authority is pleased to approve the Assessment Policy Framework (APF) 2019 for elementary level of school education in the Punjab. The APF 2019 is the first framework of its nature being presented in the province, under which all assessments shall henceforth be administered in the Punjab in a coherent and meaningful manner. This policy replaces and repeals previous policy directions covering earlier primary/elementary level assessments/examinations in the province, including the annual examinations held at Classes 5 and 8 by the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC). Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department (Regulation Wing) issued clarification regarding entitlement of grant of computer allowance to up-graded posts. I am directed to refer to Commissioner Malakand Division office letter No.171/2/62/A0 Dated 09-03-2018 on the subject noted above and to convey view of Finance Department that as per Finance Department Circular date 31 December, 2001 that all Computer Operators have been upgraded to BPS-16 are entitled to be granted Rs.1500/- per month.

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a letter regarding Grant of Advance Increments to SSTs on the Basis of Higher Education. I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that the Committee constituted by the Chief Minister to examine the issue regarding grant of advance increments to Secondary School Teachers (SST) on the basis of higher qualification, examined the case and submitted its recommendations to the Chief Minister who accorded approval of the same. According to the aforesaid approval, Secondary School Teachers (SST) who had been recruited on the basis of Qualification of B.A/B.Sc & B.Ed/B.T are entitled to the grant of advance increments in terms of Finance Department's Para 15(iii) of policy letter No.FD.PC.2-1/83 dated 25.08.1983 upon acquiring higher qualification, i.e. three for M.A. and three for Master Degree in Education (M.Ed).
