Government of the Punjab, School Education Department, Secretary School Education issued notification regarding summer vacations for all public and private educational institutions in Punjab with effect from 17.05.2018. In partial modification of Notification of even number dated 1st March, 2018 Summer Vacations for all Public and Private Education Institutions in Punjab are hereby rescheduled w.e.f 17.05.2018 to 10.08.2018 instead of 01.06.2018 to 14.08.2018 due to soaring temperatures and start of the Holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak. All the Educational Institutions shall re-open on 11.08.2018. The schedule of examinations already announced by CIES and other international organizations shall be followed by the education institutions both in public and private sector.

Honorable Lahore High Court, Lahore, Registrar issued a notification regarding held in abeyance up-gradations of Assistants, Senior Clerks, Junior Clerks and Drivers. The Honorable Chief Justice has been pleased to held in abeyance the up-gradation of Assistants (from BS-16 to BS-17 as Admin Office Coordinator), Senior Clerks (from BS-14 to BS-16 as Senior Officer Coordinator), Junior Clerks (from BS-11 to BS-14 as Officer Coordinator) and Drivers (from BS-05 to BS-07) as notified vide Orders Endst. Nos. 1542/B/I-A-2(a)2017-2018, dated 27.01.2018 and 1183 B/I-A-2(a)2017-2018, dated 20.01.2018, respectively. The Honorable Chief Justice has also been pleased to order to take up the matter with Government of the Punjab for implementation of the orders of up-gradation of aforesaid posts in due course of time.

Honorable Lahore High Court, Lahore, Judicial Department issued instructions regarding charging of fee from students during summer vacations by private schools. Petitioner submitted that the private schools because of summer vacations have started demanding the tuition fee for three months which is against the order dated 28.05.2015 passed by this Court. It was inquired specifically from the representative of the Schools Education Department, Government of the Punjab, as to whether the order passed by this Court still holds the field: the officer confirmed that the order was not challenged before any forum, therefore, the same still holds the field. In view of above, it is crystal clear that demanding of tuition fee for three months from the students by the private educational institutions is violation of the aforesaid order, therefore, the respondent department is directed to again publish the notification No.SO(A-I) Misc/2012. dated 07.05.2014 issued by the Schools Education Departme...

Government of Sindh, Finance Department, Section Officer for Secretary to Government of Sindh issued a notification regarding grant of prison allowance to the Prison Personnel of Prison Department. With the approval of Competent Authority (i.e. Chief Minister Sindh), Government of Sindh has been pleased to allow the Prison Allowance equivalent to the initial (minimum) of respective Basic Pay Scales, 2008 to the Prison Personnel of Prison Department, Government of Sindh to bring at par with Punjab and Balochistan, w.e.f 01.07.2018.

Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Quality Assurance-I Section) HRM Wing, Section Officer(QA-I) issued circular regarding Call for Nomination for Foreign Training Programs at Malaysia.  The Economic Affairs Division vide its O.Ms No.3(7) SEA-2018 dated 17-04-2018, No.3(10)SEA/2018 dated 18-04-2018, No.3(11)SEA/2018 dated 18-04-2018 and No.3(9)SEA/2018 dated 17-07-2018 has requested to nominate officers for following fully funded training programs being organized by the Government of Malaysia. The National Database and Registration Authority, Ministry of Interior issued a letter addressed to all RHOs (NADRA) regarding updated fee of Teslin and Smart Card. The competent authority has approved the revised fee for Teslin and Smart Cards and the same shall be implemented at all DAUs dated from 24.04.2018 across all regions. Keeping the sensitivity of the matter in view, RHOs are required to ensure the availability of all Mobile Vans and DAUs Incharge on 24.04.2018 New Fee library has been made available which shall be synchronized at the shift and (single shift) whereas all double shift and mega center shall update the same at the end of the 2nd shift and before 0000 Hrs respectively.
